Season 8

8.01 - Angie in the Outfield

Bart’s baseball birthday party at the Springfield Park, ends in surprise when Angie beats every participant. The Springfield Isotopes’ manager is randomly lurking in the park and finds his next big star in Angie, who he uses to start the new minor league women’s team. Lisa is excited for her friend, until she sees all the women wearing skimpy outfits and everyone in the audience is a drunk male.

8.02 - Izzy Money

Lisa and Eddie go on their first date together which drives Izzy insane. He decides to try to win Lisa’s affections by making a plan in which Bart pretends to be a burglar who is burgling Lisa’s dorm and Izzy catches him in front of her. The plan goes wrong however, when Lisa comes home early and thinks Izzy is trying to burgle her.

8.03 - Sight Gag

Professor Bungalow does a lesson on the five senses and how important they are and uses Bart as the class’s guinea pig. Bart must be blindfolded for a full week to see what his life will be like as a blind person. Lisa has fun with this by manipulating Bart’s mind. But when the horrible living conditions of Skullgrass dorms cause another fire, which Lisa, who is the only one actually staying for the weekend, gets stuck in. It is up to Bart to save her, but he is not able to take the blindfold off, because it is super glued to his face.

8.04 - Milhouse Down Under

Bart tries to console Milhouse when his cider selling business fails completely. Bart and Milhouse try once more to get the cider sales up with unsuccessful results, until Milhouse convinces Lisa to start an ad campaign which she enjoys, until she gets no money or credit in return. She decides to sabatoge the business, and does successfully but when Suki and Milhouse become totally poor, Lisa feels guilty.

8.05 - Truck be a Lady

Angie decides to take a career as a trucker when she accidentally stumbles upon a trucking seminar. Meanwhile, Lisa tries to talk her out of it, causing a fight between them. Lisa tries to look for a job of her own, and becomes a cocktail waitress at Moe’s Tavern.

8.06 - Ask Homer

Homer decides to write a comic strip for the Springfield Shopper’s comic contest. He wins and his comic goes in the newspaper. The editor needs a new letter answerer after the old one dies, and Homer quickly takes the job. But Lisa ends up being the one giving all the advice, while Homer takes credit for it and becomes the Shopper’s most famous columnist.

8.07 - Roamin' Holiday

Lisa, Bart and Angie take a vacation to Mexico for their break, but their trip becomes a disaster when their hotel room reservation seems to have been deleted and they have nowhere to go. They try to call home, but a blackout in Springfield does not allow them to get an answer. They rent a car and are ready to get home, until Angie accidentally wanders off and gets lost. Together, Bart and Lisa try to find their friend and get back home alive.

8.08 - Material Girl

After quitting her degrading job at Moe’s, Lisa decides that she is too picky when it comes to jobs and decides to make college her only occupation until she graduates and gets a real job. But when she sees a very expensive Gukki purse that she really wants, Lisa gets an illegal job: writing and selling essays and papers across Skullgrass campus.

8.09 - Lenny’s Pennies

Homer pursues Lenny for some money when Lenny wins the Springfield jack pot but he doesn’t get anything. He is angry but cools off, until he sees Lenny giving money to his other friends and to a charity, Homer tries to find out just how much of a friend Lenny is.

8.10 - The Glayvin Is Always Greener

Lisa finds a job helping Prof. Frink in his lab, and decides to become a scientist just like him. After mimicking many experiments at home, Lisa realizes that she is not good at it, until she invents a revolutionary invention: the Smart Tester. Meanwhile, Bart tries to make his construction work more fun but causes an accident in the process.

8.11 - Friender Bender

Lisa and Angie clash when Lisa accidentally runs over Angie’s cherished teddy bear, Snookums. They decide to stop speaking with one another and try to make new friends, with unsuccessful results. So, they make up a friend to make each other jealous. Meanwhile, Bart tries to repair Angie’s teddy bear to get her to notice him again.

8.12 - No Business Like Snow Business

When a minor snow storm gets Springfield Middle School cancelled for a full week, Lisa decides that the school system is very weak and protests to get the snow limit on when to close schools to change. She is successful, but at a cost when a terrible snow storm hits Springfield and all the kids are forced to go to school and blame Lisa.

8.13 - Beauty and the Least

Lisa continues to go out with Eddie, much to Bart’s disappointment. Bart thinks that Lisa is way out of stupid Eddie’s league but she continues seeing him because she starts to become attracted to him. Bart is disgusted and tries to find the perfect man for his little sister, until he talks to Eddie and realizes that he is a good person and he is good enough for Lisa

8.14 - A Room with No View

When Marge forces the family to do early Spring cleaning, they all end up in the attic, and the door gets stuck, trapping them all inside. They start telling stories of past memories. Marge and Homer tell about the time they almost got a divorce on Maggie’s 10th birthday. Lisa reminisces about her high school student body president election and Bart talks about his second run in with Jessica Lovejoy in high school.

8.15 - Somebody’s Been Sleeping in My Bed

Lisa is surprised when she invites Prof. Jason Bungalow over for dinner and he reveals that he lived in the Simpson home before she did. This prompts Lisa to find the origins of her house and discovers that the property was once owned by Jebediah Springfield. The house soon becomes a tourist attraction, until Lisa also discovers a scandal that went on in the same place also involving Jebediah Springfield.

8.16 - I Bart N.Y.

Bart decides to move to New York when he feels that the family is in his business too often. Lisa tries to get him to stay, without success. But when Bart does move, he finds that New York is much different than he ever imagined and quickly has trouble adjusting. He needs to go back but he can’t admit to his family that he can’t handle it. Bart stays but quickly becomes homeless and alone. Lisa decides to visit him and finds him, then brings him back home.

8.17 - The Band That Rocks the Cradle

Bart decides to start a garage rock band, the Barts, and holds auditions at Skullgrass for his band members. Maggie, who feels like she is treated like a baby, joins the band to rebel against Marge. Bart and Maggie become the best of friends as Maggie drifts farther apart from Marge and Homer. Meanwhile, Lisa tries to make her jazz more cool and upbeat when Bart tells her that it is too boring to be included in his band.

8.18 - Too School For Cool

Maggie’s rebelling continues and her grades begin to slip. Marge assigns Lisa to tutor her which annoys Maggie. Lisa tries to help Maggie but Maggie won’t listen to her. Lisa has trouble accepting her sister’s horrible grades, after all the potential she showed as a youngster. This prompts her to try to become closer to Maggie, to discover what she wants and to be more “cool” around her.

8.19 - No Way, No Cow!

Lisa goes on a road trip with Angie in her new truck and they go down to Texas to Angie’s parent’s farm. The place is much worse than Lisa imagined when she is forced to do hard labor during her stay there. Plus, Mrs. Shay really dislikes Lisa for taking Angie away. Meanwhile, Bart helps Milhouse and Suki decide whether or not to have a baby.

8.20 - Meow and Then

Never unexpectedly gets pregnant and surprises Lisa. A few weeks after Never has the kittens, they disappear and Lisa finds them at Prof. Frink’s lab where he is conducting experiments on them. Lisa is outraged until she finds out that Frink and the kittens have reached success and fame after he uses them to successfully prove that time travel is possible.

8.21 - All New in the Country

Bart’s lay off from his job in construction upsets the Simpsons until Lisa informs them that she got a new job at a Buzz Cola packaging plant. Bart is insulted by all the attention that is given to Lisa and decides that they don’t care about him as much as they do Lisa and Maggie. Bart soon goes to live with Milhouse in the country. Meanwhile, Lisa has difficulty in her new job.

8.22 - Diet Quota

The quotas at the Buzz Cola plant keep on increasing, driving Lisa and her co-workers crazy. Lisa decides to talk to her boss, who she realizes is actually a girl, Sheena, around her age who just inherited the plant from her dead father. Lisa tries to relate to Sheena so she can get on her good side so the quotas will be lowered, until Lisa and Sheena get into a fight, causing the quotas to be raised even more.

8.23 - Route 666

Bart thinks the Simpson home might be possessed by demons and tries to get a priest to perform an exorcism on it. Lisa thinks Bart is crazy, until one day at the library, she finds out something spooky about the area where the Simpson home is located.

8.24 - Fitness at Supper Time

Lisa tries to get Homer in Bart into shape and schedules a weekly family run. After losing a few pounds, Homer has a surprise fourth heart attack, which causes Lisa to feel guilt and tries to make it up to Homer when he comes back home. Meanwhile, Marge and Maggie find themselves gaining weight when they are able to eat all the extra food in the refrigerator left by Homer who is on a strict diet.

8.25 - XXX Marks the Spot

Lisa gets a second job to make more money. She and job both begin work at Honk Video, but neither realizes that their new occupation is at an adult video store. When Izzy and Eddie see Lisa there they are shocked and tell Angie, who quickly tells others and suddenly all of Skullgrass think Lisa is a pervert. 1
